Slot mortising attachment SG 500
The larger the
laminated beam, the deeper th mortise cut required.
The
SG 500 has sufficient
reserves to ensure depths of 500 mm
(19 11/16 in.)
and lengths of 50 mm (1 15/16 in.) with each cut.
Wider
slots are achieved by adjusting the machine and
making a second cut
using the same chain. The guide
pieces to be attached to the front end
of the chain
bar ensure that the chain does not err into the first
cut.
The SG 500 can be
ranged 45° to either side. The SG
500 is designed
for easy operating by one man
and high-precision results. This is
ensured by an
extremely accurate chain guide, robust design and
the
2100 W ( 2.8 hp ) universal motor of the LS 103. The SG
500īs
standard specification does not include
cutting chains. This allows you
to choose the chains
best suited to your specific purpose, ranging
from 10
to 17 mm (3/8 to 11/16 in.).
