Slot morttising attachment SG 230 Turn the LS 103 chain mortiser into a slot
mortiser for maximum slot depth of 9 1/16 / 11 1/4
in. (230/285 mm). The LS 103
chain mortiser can now be quickly and easily
converted to a slot mortiser. This combination
provides the ideal all-purpose machine for slotting
and mortising work to a depth of 185 mm. The
following are typical applications: - Cutting
oblique scarf joints and corner half-lap joints,
including oblique and concealed corner
half-lap joints - Cutting channels for supply
lines - Cutting slots in posts, etc. Weighing only
37.4 lbs (17 kg), the LS 103
with slot mortising attachment is very easy to
handle. The slot depth is set by adjusting the stop.
The lateral fence can simply be folded up, when
cutting oblique scarf joints, for instance. The
mortising depth is continuously adjustable with the
depth stop. At 4900 rpm, the powerful 2100 W motor of
the LS 103 offers
an impressive cutting speed and thus ensures clean
cuts. Exact chain guidance and the strong, wear-free
design represent fundamental quality characteristics.
The SG 230 slot mortising
attachment is supplied as standard without a chain
set. Please choose the set that meets your needs from
a range between 1/4 and 13/16 in. (6 and 21 mm) chain
width.
